Prairie Meadows Racetrack and Casino will likely feature fewer days of
horse racing in the future with larger, better fields of horses, the
track's top executive predicted Monday.

Polk County. State law requires the referendum at eight-year intervals.
There is no organized opposition in Polk County, and the measure is
expected to be overwhelmingly approved.
