What the Nation is saying about Dunkirk Retired...

I'm really sorry to read this story. I really thought Dunkirk was starting to come around to his racing potential after the Belmont Stakes. I was looking forward to seeing him race a 4yr.old campaign. He was one of those colt's that once he got a few more races under his belt that the sky could have been the limit for. IMO.
Unbridled's Song was awesome, offspring now too... just fragile. So, let's breed to the fragile... yea!
Very disappointing!
Hard to believe Dunkirk only made 5 starts. Never started as a 2-year-old, and didn't make it to the races at 4. How sound could this son of Unbridled's Song really be? Doesn't matter - they are happy to breed to him as soon as possible.
