World Cup Favorite So You Think Draws Post Four

SO YOU THINK, favourite for the Dubai World Cup, will mount his challenge from stall four of 14 after the draw for the world's richest race was conducted on Wednesday.

Aidan O'Brien's contender will have second-favourite Smart Falcon next door in stall five, while Game On Dude, third in at 7-1, was last out of the hat and as a consequence is widest of all in stall 14.

Coral pushed out Game On Dude to 10-1 (from 7), but part-owner Bernie Schiappa refused to be downcast and said: "It is the perfect position. That is our lucky number. My dear friend Terry Lane passed away lastyear and he died on the 14th."

Larooski:I was just saying i think the track was to loose,i have to check the replay. The stuff flying up in the air more then what dirt does ,make a really differents in how a horse will perform ..I don't know Turfway Park,it sure looks beautiful..i bet Santa Anita,Aqueduct,Woodbine..It's nice to hear they take care of the track, well i hope you have a great weekend of racing..
Turfway has had 1 fatel breakdown in 4 months of winter racing. They know how to take care of their track. So what if it's too loose, it's super safe. They know what they're doing.
Travel_vic ,your right on..Got me thinking about watching and looking at Woodbine update's .There always keeping the track-up..I have to watch last weeks replay's of the Big Stake's ,i notice the track at turfway was way to loose..I will double check..and watch the replay's ..
all of the artifial surfaces depend on how they are cared for, BUt, they are all hard
One of the trainer's were saying the Tapeta is really hard surface? so you think maybe it's going to be really fast..
It'll be a good race though, we are guaranteed that!
What a beautiful picture of So You Think!

P.P.#4 is an excellent draw for So You Think given his high cruising speed and running style. He came into the BC Classic off of a grueling campaign of having just run in the G1 Irish Champion Stakes, the G1 Arc De Triomphe, and the G1 Champion Stakes at Ascot back to back to back before he even came to America for the Classic, and IMO, he was by no means disgraced in the race for a first ever run on conventional dirt. The top international turf horses have run very, very well on the tapeta surface over the past 3 seasons, and I'll expect we'll see So You Think run a much bigger race in the Dubai World Cup than he ran in the BC Classic. Being a natural turf horse, I think he'll adapt to the surface a lot better than he did conventional dirt. I look for Godolphin's Capponi to try and steal this race entirely from the front end just like he did the G1 Al Maktoum Challenge Rd. 3. The field certainly can't afford to let him get away, because he holds the Meydan track record on tapeta for the fastest 10f ever run. I think Game On Dude will have a difficult time overcoming the P.P. #14 draw. That's not a knock at him, because I know what a tenacious competitor he is. But I just think the DWC field is a good bit deeper than the field he faced in the BC Classic. JMO.
So You Think might crush for the green white and orange.
