Dream Ahead could join the British
challenge for next month’s Breeders’ Cup after his trainer David Simcock
said a trip to Churchill Downs was a ‘distinct possibility’.
The
colt’s future has been uncertain since his sale to Ballylinch Stud in
Ireland was announced in the immediate aftermath of his defeat of
Goldikova in the Group One Prix de la Foret at Longchamp on Arc day.
That
is his destination for 2012 but should he line up in America, Dream
Ahead will attempt to deny Goldikova an unprecedented fourth win the
Breeders’ Cup Mile.
