A field of twelve has been drawn for the 135th Preakness Stakes, and Kentucky Derby winner Super Saver landed post eight and has been installed as the 5-2 morning line favorite.
Lookin At Lucky, a troubled sixth as the Derby favorite, has been made the solid 3-1 second choice by Pimlico linemaker Frank Carulli. The Bob Baffert runner was unfortunate to draw the rail at Churchill Downs but fared much better with lucky number seven at Pimlico.
Derby show finisher Paddy O'Prado will break from post ten and is the third choice at 9-2 with Kent Desormeaux in the saddle.
Thirteen horses were expected to be entered but Derby Trial winner Hurricane Ike was withdrawn from consideration Wednesday morning after coming up lame in his left hind leg.
All starters will carry 126 pounds and the Preakness Stakes will be run at 6:15 p.m. Eastern on May 15, with live coverage beginning at 4:30 p.m. on NBC.
