Dominus, Justin Phillip Work at Saratoga

Dominus and Justin Phillip worked on the main track Tuesday, breezing four furlongs in 50.31 and 50.59 seconds.

 

Trainer Steve Asmussen confirmed Zayat Stables’ Justin Phillip for the Grade 1 Foxwoods King’s Bishop but would not comment on the status of Dominus, who is owned by George Bolton, Stonestreet Stables, and Spendthrift Farm.

 

“[Dominus] went good,” said Asmussen. “We’ll talk to the owners later in the day.”

 

Asmussen added that J. Kirk and Judy Robison’s Wine Police, listed as questionable for the King’s Bishop, will work out tomorrow.
