Jockey Ramon Dominguez guided I’ve Got Speed to victory in the fifth
race on Friday at Belmont Park, setting a new mark for wins during the
Elmont, New York, track’s spring/summer meet.
The win was Dominguez’s 93rd of the meet, breaking the previous
record of 92 set by Racing Hall of Fame jockey Angel Cordero Jr. 27
years ago.
