Delta Storm returned from a six-month layoff to score a front-running victory in Thursday's $76,145 Robert K. Kerlan Memorial Handicap at Hollywood Park.

Ridden by Joel Rosario, Delta Storm covered six furlongs on the turf in 1:07.94, holding off Sky Cape by 1 1/4 lengths.
