November 6, 2010: Dangerous Midge, ridden by Frankie Dettori and trained by Brian Meehan win in the Emirates Airline Breeders Cup Turf at Churchill Downs in Louisville, KY.
DANGEROUS MIDGE will not attempt to follow up his win in the Breeders' Cup Turf in this month's Japan Cup with connections deciding to instead send him out to Dubai for his next assignment.

The £1.7million race in Tokyo on November 28 had been earmarked as a possible next target for Dangerous Midge after his length and a quarter win at Churchill Downs but he will now be aimed at either the Dubai World Cup or the Sheema Classic at Meydan in March.

After speaking to owner Iraj Parvizi, trainer Brian Meehan told his website: "We are very grateful for all the help given to us by the Japan Racing Association while we considered our plans but, in the end, we decided it better to wait for Dubai. Hopefully he can make the trip to Japan next November.

"I would like to thank Iraj Parvizi. He is a great supporter of mine and has been for a number of years.
