Richard Munk, managing partner of Funky Munky Stable LLC, winning owner of Hold That Prospect (No. 5):  “This is the first stakes win for Funky Munky stable – I can’t tell you how excited I am.  I’m more excited for the partners who had the faith in me to join Funky Munky stable and we were pleasantly rewarded.  I’m kind of speechless right now to win a stakes race with a horse that we claimed for $30,000.  I never expected this in my wildest dreams – never did I think we’d win a stakes with a horse we claimed for $30,000.  You’re just not supposed to do that.  What this horse has done and what Gary Gullo has done with this horse – I couldn’t be happier.”
