What the Nation is saying about Charitable Man decision due Wednesday...

He is also undefeated with perfect trips against hangers!
It was confirmed today that Charitable Man will run in the Belmont Stakes. Glad to see the fresh face join the Triple Crown trail. Note that he is 3-3 on conventional dirt and 2-2 at Belmont.
I hope Charitable Man runs in the Belmont because his Peter Pan win was a complete mirage where the race fell into his lap. His final time was not nearly as impressive as it looks given the track condition and the way it played that afternoon.
Charitable Man would bring some class and speed to the Belmont Stakes. His sire Lemon Drop Kid won the Belmont in 1999, and fresh horses are particularly dangerous in the final leg of the Triple Crown.
