Captivating Lass Ready for Demoiselle Test

Darley Stable's Captivating Lass, a two-length maiden winner at Parx Racing on October 1, will be the lone HolidayFest representative from trainer Kiaran McLaughlin's barn as she points toward the Grade 2, $200,000 Demoiselle on Saturday.

The A.P. Indy filly went wire-to-wire and covered the mile and 70 yards in 1:44.57 in her debut.

"We liked her a lot going into the race," said McLaughlin, who will send out Captivating Lass for her final breeze Saturday morning over Belmont Park's training track. "She won her only start and has been training well. She's bred to go 1 1/8 miles."

Alan Garcia will ride, said McLaughlin.
