11/1/2008 LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) — Favorite Capt. Candyman Can took control early then fended off a charge by Monty's Best to win the $100,000 Iroquois Stakes by three lengths in a race for 2-year-old colts at Churchill Downs on Saturday.
