Bullet Train to Wintergreen Stallion Station

Bullet Train, a Group-winning, three-quarter brother to the sensational and undefeated Frankel, will enter stud in 2013 at Wintergreen Stallion Station in Midway, Kentucky for a fee of $7,500 it was announced today.
A foal of 2007, Bullet Train is by the legendary sire-of-sires Sadler’s Wells, whose 325 stakes winners and progeny earnings of over $166 million rank him among the best ever. Sadler's Wells is currently is the sire of the two leading world-wide sires in Galileo, the sire of Frankel, and Montjeu. Bullet Train’s dam is the Danehill mare Kind, who has produced three group stakes winners, including Frankel, with her first three foals.

“We are tremendously excited to have the opportunity to stand a three-quarter brother to the horse who has been heralded the world over as one of the greatest of all time,” said Wintergreen owner, John Greely, IV. “Bullet Train gives American breeders the opportunity to infuse that classic Juddmonte Farms bloodline into their mares at a stud fee that is fraction of the cost to that of Frankel.”
“The Greely family has had decades of success breeding in Kentucky and my brother Mark and I are proud to partner with them by standing Bullet Train at Wintergreen,” said bloodstock agent Bob Feld, who will manage the stallion. “With his excellent speed, athleticism and outstanding pedigree, Bullet Train really suits American racing and should be well-received by breeders from coast-to-coast.”
Wintergreen Stallion Station will proudly introduce Bullet Train on Tuesday, December 11 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. during an open house at the farm at 169 Muir Lane in Midway. Refreshments will be served. For driving directions visit wintergreenstallionstation.com.
