Bullet Train - A Visit to Wintergreen Stallion Station

The HRN crew went on the road to Midway, Kentucky to visit the 3/4 brother to Frankel, Bullet Train. Standing at stud for just $7,500, Bullet Train beat 11 group 1 winners and won a group 3 in his own right. Bullet Train was better known as being the pacemaker for Frankel. Pace scenario can allow a horse of limited distance ability, to win, or at least perform very well. Olden Times, and another sprinter I saw alone on the lead at the old 2 mile Sunset Handicap on closing weekend at Hollywood. It took Casting Shadows a BIG late run to catch him alone on the lead and set a track record to boot. Pace can change everything.....As distance limited as I AM, if I slow the pace, I can go a lot farther and make it look passable....With early competition, no way.
According to the "experts" distance means nothing. You being one, why bring it up now and not a few weeks ago?
