Blind Luck to Breeze Sept 7; Nominated to Beldame

8.21 Blind Luck wins the Grade 1 Alabama with Joel Rosario up
Blind Luck, who hasn't recorded an official work since Aug. 17, is expected to breeze Sept. 7 at Hollywood Park, co-owner and trainer Jerry Hollendorfer said.

Hollendorfer said Blind Luck has been to the track every day since her last work, but he decided not to breeze her because she is not very fond of the Del Mar Polytrack.

“She didn’t like training at Del Mar, and when a horse doesn’t like something you can’t keep making them do it,” he said.

The six-time grade I winner has not raced since beating Havre de Grace by a nose in the July 16 Delaware Handicap (gr. II). Hollendorfer said the 4-year-old daughter of Pollard's Vision   remains on target to make her next start Oct. 1.

Blind Luck had an incredible work today. Glad they are away from that Del Mar surface she doesn't care for. Looks like she's in great shape.
HORSEFACE : he was all out and couldn't have gone another 1/16th. Stay Thirsty brezed in the Travers on a very tiring track while whats his name ran on the Belmont speedway.

If Stay Thirsty doesn't lose again, most likely he'd be at the top of the list for HOTY. Has there ever been a HOTY that had a 12th place & 7th place finish on their record for the year, that won the HOTY?

HDG is dead fit and should take the Beldame. Then, on to the BCC. HOTY and top older female is very possible for her.
Glad to hear why she hasn't stuck to her normal work routine. Was worried something may have been going on. Hoping for a Beldame thriller, instead of SA.
