Blind Luck Works for El Encino

8.21 Blind Luck wins the Grade 1 Alabama with Joel Rosario up
Likely 3-year-old filly champion Blind Luck worked six furlongs on Santa Anita's main track Jan. 1 in 1:11 4/5 as she prepares for her 2011 debut in the El Encino Stakes (gr. II) Jan. 16.

Blind Luck’s workout was one of 216 recorded during the morning at Santa Anita.


“Fantastic” is how Jerry Hollendorfer assistant Dan Ward termed the drill. “She’s all cranked up and ready to go. She’ll have at least one more breeze before the race.”
