Some horses have a nose for the wire. The aptly-named Blind Luck is certainly one of them.
For the third time this season Blind
Luck ran down a rival in the final jump to win by the narrowest of
margins, this time nosing out Havre de Grace in the $263,200 Delaware Oaks (gr. II) July 10 on the slop. It was the fourth graded victory of the season for the daughter of Pollard's Vision, who is co-owned and trained by the California-based Jerry Hollendorfer.
