Black Caviar to Run at Caufield on Saturday

Horse of the Year Black Caviar is destined to start the shortest price of her career when she chases her 14th consecutive win in a depleted Group 2 Schillaci Stakes at Caulfield on Saturday.

TAB Sportsbet expects punters will generally avoid the race after only seven horses were nominated on Monday against the unbeaten champion sprinter who will be long odds-on to equal Phar Lap's winning streak when she resumes in the 1,000m feature.

Entries have been extended until Tuesday morning.

The Peter Moody-trained five-year-old was A$1.09 when she won the Group 1 William Reid Stakes at Moonee Valley three starts ago in March and A$1.14 on her last two runs in the Group 1 T J Smith in Sydney and the BTC Cup in Brisbane.
