BLACK CAVIAR, the unbeaten Australian sprinter, could head to Royal Ascot via Dubai after the mare was on Wednesday entered in both the Golden Shaheen and Al Quoz Sprint on World Cup night.
The winner of all 16 of her starts, rated second only to Frankel in the world thoroughbred rankings, is due to return to action for the first of three runs in Australia beginning at Moonee Valley later this month.
But trainer Peter Moody has given himself the option of taking her to Meydan afterwards in March where a run in the Golden Shaheen could set up a showdown with Sepoy, the Sheikh Mohammed-owned colt who won nine out of ten starts in Australia last year and is now in Dubai.
