New Monmouth Park logo
Kenwood Racing LLC’s Be My Love angled off the fence turning for home and wore down Trish’s Wish in the shadow of the wire to post a neck victory in the $30,000 allowance/optional claiming feature at the Meadowlands on Monday afternoon.

Trained by Stephen DiMauro and ridden by Paco Lopez, Be My Love returned $17.20, $9 and $5.20 in the field of 10 fillies and mares.  Trish’s Wish completed the $203.40 exacta and paid $13.60 and $7.40.  It was another half-length back to Bellaridge, who paid $3.40 to show.

A 3-year-old filly by With Distinction from the Untuttable mare Arealhotlover, Be My Love sports a record of 2-2-3 from 15 lifetime starts.

Live racing continues at the Meadowlands on Friday, Oct. 18 – gates open 11:30 a.m., first post 2:15 p.m.  The all-turf Monmouth-at-Meadowlands meet runs through Nov. 2.
