The 2009 Jebel Hatta (G2) winner, Balius, returned to the winner’s enclosure for the first time since that Super Thursday score when landing Wednesday’s lucrative Anatolia Trophy (G2) at Istanbul’s Veliefendi Racecourse.  Ridden by Frankie Dettori, Balius covered 2000 meters over Veliefendi’s synthetic surface in 2:03.02, marking the first success in the country for Godolphin.  View [...] Read More
