Bob Baffert is an instinctive trainer. And his instincts, it seems, are telling him to stretch out The Factor, the speedy winner of the San Vicente at Santa Anita.
"He looks like a sprinter, and he runs like a sprinter," Baffert said about the colt who set a track record in his maiden victory at Santa Anita. "But the thing is: After a race, he doesn't seem tired."
