BHP-Los Al 405 Double Returns Nov. 10

A wager linking the final race of the day at Betfair Hollywood Park and the opener at Los Alamitos returns Sunday, Nov. 10.

Called the “405 Double’’, the $2 minimum bet will require a player to pick the winner of Betfair Hollywood Park’s last race and the first at Los Alamitos.

Approved nearly a year ago by the California Horse Racing Board and the Thoroughbred Owners of California, the 405 Double debuted during the 2012 Autumn meet.

The wager will be offered every Sunday throughout Betfair Hollywood Park’s 27-day season, which begins Thursday, Nov. 7 and concludes Sunday, Dec. 22. The first race each Sunday at Los Alamitos will feature thoroughbreds going 4 ½ furlongs.

The 405 Double will be available on track at both Betfair Hollywood Park and Los Alamitos as well as the various satellite wagering facilities and Television Games Network (TVG).
