Havre de Grace, who was pre-entered in both the Breeders’ Cup Classic (gr. I) and
Breeders’ Cup Ladies Classic (gr. I), will only be entered in the
Classic when final entries are drawn Oct. 31.
Owner Rick Porter explained his decision Oct. 29 on his web site, rockportharbor.com
“Larry (Jones) and I talked over our
options with both the Ladies Classic and the Classic and decided that we
will only enter Grace in the Classic,” Porter wrote.
