Arc Top Two to Meet in Japan Cup

Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe second Orfevre will have a chance to exact revenge over his Longchamp conqueror Solemia when the two clash in the Japan Cup on November 25.

Orfevre's trainer Yasutoshi Ikee said on Friday that the four-year-old would run in the Grade 1, while Solemia's connections said earlier this month they intended to run in the race and expected to fly out next Tuesday.

What the Nation is saying about Arc Top Two to Meet in Japan Cup...

Still think Orfevre is the horse to beat in JC. Don't agree with the naysayers that this horse tired in the Arc. This horse has already proven that he can win at longer distances. I think his Arc loss was just a matter of the horse just letting up thinking the race was over. Can't really blame his French jockey who was urging him all the the way to the wire. Orfevre seems to be his own worst enemy.
Big like on the above comment ^^^^
if orfevre can run in a straight line no one will come near him.
I thin Orfevre will win the Japan Cup coz is the best horse in long distances on turf and he know this field
Solemia was best on Arc Day because of turf conditions. She has never been rated close to Orfevre in the past. Unless she improves quite a bit, I would think this was Orfevre's race to lose.
Pay back time!! In a romp!
