Antrim County scores big in Claiming Crown

Carl R. Moore Management's ANTRIM COUNTY (Giant's Causeway) is no stranger to the Thoroughbred industry's "blue-collar" day of racing, otherwise known as the Claiming Crown, capturing last year's running of the Iron Horse S. by 3 1/2 lengths. On Saturday, the Bret Calhoun trainee showed up at Canterbury Park to take home the top prize of the 11th annual event, scoring a neck victory in the $138,000 Claiming Crown Jewel with Jamie Theriot aboard.
