Animal Kingdom Arrives at Fair Hill

Animal Kingdom Fair Hill top story.
Kentucky Derby winner Animal Kingdom arrived at Graham Motion's Fair Hill Training Center base in Elkton, Maryland to begin preparations for the upcoming Preakness Stakes.

He jogged one mile over the Tapeta footing on Wednesday morning and will be out for some light exercise again on Thursday. The 3-year-old son of Leroidesanimaux is expected to gallop on Friday.

If everything goes according to plan, Animal Kingdom will ship to Pimlico on May 20, one day before the Preakness.
