Dogwood Stable's Aikenite continues along the Kentucky Derby Trail
and will be pointed toward the Grade 1 $750,000 Bluegrass Stakes at
Keeneland on April 10.
Aikenite has raced before at the track,
finishing second to Noble's Promise in the Grade 1 Dixiana Futurity in
October last year. Aikenite had placed sixth and fifth in his past two
races, the Holy Bull Stakes and the Breeders' Cup Juvenile.
