Affirmatif has posted a 1 3/4-length win at Keeneland in the featured $56,217 Heaven Trees Purse.

The winner, ridden by Garrett Gomez, took the lead after a quarter-mile, pulled away as he the backstretch and was never threatened in the race Wednesday for 4-year-olds and older. He covered the 5 1/2 furlongs on the turf in 1:02.77 and paid $2.80, $2.40 and $2.10 as the 2-5 favorite.
