Aces N Kings in the Springboard Mile

Aces N Kings, the rags-to-riches champion 2-year-old of the Lone Star season, worked a half-mile in 47.78 this morning, and so he's good to go in Saturday's $250,000 Springboard Mile at Remington Park.

Because he didn't finish his last race, the Delta Jackpot at Delta Downs, Ace N Kings had to work for the approval of the stewards here, and he turned in a bullet.
