$60k Pick 6 Carryover at Aqueduct Monday

The first of 12 scheduled Monday cards at Aqueduct Racetrack in 2014 will be highlighted by a two-day Pick 6 carryover of $60,817.50.

 

Race 4, which has a scheduled post time of 1:52 p.m., will serve as the first leg of the Pick 6. All of six races in the sequence have at least eight betting interests in the body of the field (before scratches).

 

Sunday's Pick 6 had only one winning favorite as Ballybrit ($3.80) took race 4. The sequence continued in race 5 with 25-1 shot Take Down Two ($53.50), followed by Shea Darby ($11.60) in race 6 and Reserved Quality ($8.20) in race 7. After Herbal Prospector ($21.80) won the eighth race, only Apex, the No. 6 horse, was covered heading into the ninth and final race, won by 68-1 shot Fairy Snow ($138.50).

 

Those who wish to play the Pick 6 can place their bets at Aqueduct or the Belmont Café, or through NYRA Rewards which offers Internet, On-Track, Phone, and Mobile wagering.
