@BrianZipse, The American conventional dirt horses historically just haven't handled the tapeta surface very well at all. A quality American turf horse like Wise Dan or Little Mike would likely take to tapeta and be a much bigger threat to win the Dubai World Cup than any of our horses who race exclusively on conventional dirt in America, IMO.
