Two sprint wire jobs on the fast main track. Turf course played fair (rail at 15 feet).

 

Eswan Flores booted home a pair. Doug O’Neill saddled two winners on the afternoon.

 

On the ticket front I tabbed two Primary (Cat in the Forest, Matto Mondo) winners and one Secondary (Speedway Monkey) winner. Double Pick 6 carryover into Sunday.

 

Saturday Santa Anita Park Recap – Jan 28


Early-pressing types captured 4 of the 6 races contested on the fast main track. Turf course played fair (rail at 15 feet). Stalkers and closers captured all four turf races.

 

Corey Nakatani booted home a pair.

 

On the ticket front (GP/SA Luck Pick 6) I tabbed three Primary (Compari, Little Mike, Holladay Road). For the record, the Luck Pick 6 paid $13,816.
