Flashback is the new favorite for the 2013 Kentucky Derby in the latest Future Odds from Wynn Las Vegas.
The Robert B. Lewis winner, trained by Bob Baffert, is at 9-1 for the first Saturday in May. Flashback is undefeated in only two career starts but has the San Felipe next on his dance card on the road to Louisville.
Baffert's Super Ninety Nine, dominating winner of the Southwest at Oaklawn Monday, was still at 50-1, but that price is sure to drop. His performance reminded many of Bodemeister last year in the Arkansas Derby.
Horses of note set to race this week are priced as follows:
Oxbow (Risen Star) - 40-1
Violence (Fountain of Youth) - 12-1
He's Had Enough (Fountain of Youth/Risen Star) - 35-1
Proud Strike (Risen Star) - 75-1
