2013 Kentucky Derby Future Odds - 12-07-2012

Wynn Las Vegas logo

Uncaptured tops the latest Kentucky Derby 2013 future odds list from Wynn Las Vegas.

At  12-1, the G2 Kentucky Jockey Club stakes winner is the current favorite for next May's run for the roses. Trained by Mark Casse for John Oxley, Uncaptured is 6-for-7 in his career, his only loss coming in the Grey S. at Woodbine. Five of his wins were in stakes, and his last 2 stakes wins were at Churchill Downs.

Shanghai Bobby, G1 Breeders' Cup Juvenile winner, is currently at 18-1 for the Derby. The Todd Pletcher trainee is undefeated and the frontrunner for Champion 2-Year-Old honors.

Other notable horses on the list include:

He's Had Enough, runner-up in the Juvenile, at 25-1.

Goldencents, Delta Jackpot winner, at 25-1.

Recent winner Z Big Apple at 60-1.

What the Nation is saying about 2013 Kentucky Derby Future Odds - 12-07-2012...

Dewey Square with Dale Romans (who is past do for his 1st derby) and up and coming Siena Farm may be very dangerous this year!
Don't over look Dewey Square !
50-1 is really good for Bern. 12-1 on Uncaptured is a bit high for now, but I'll take it.
El Padrino was the Derby "Wise Guy" horse in JANUARY! 16-1 in Pool 1.
At least they (CTTT & Gem) made it to the gate! You could have had Eskendreya and El Padrino, speaking of jokes!
El Padrino was the dark horse. CTTT while still a favorite, I regard with furrowed eyebrows and a frown

It was a joke. I doubt Mylute will make it into the derby, but as always I pick a colt and he brings me to my slow but imminent doom. IE Comma To The Top (2nd to Last) and Gemologist (15)
Where can I sign-up to lay odds on the Derby? Year in and year out, the only thing that changes are the horses names. But the same fools are willing to take short (yes, short) odds 5 months before entries are drawn. Cocoa2: You think 150-1 is bad on mylute?! Try 275-1 on In Todd We Trust, who ran 4th today @ Lrl in a MSW. "A fool and his/her money is soon departed" rings true here.
Only 150/1 on mylute
This is umm... an odd assembly. Not the list I expected, some odds don't really "add up" to me.
