Do you know how much a thoroughbred matures between its two and three year old season??? Compare what a 5 year old does and then jump ahead to that same child at 12 to 14...NO comparison
I wouldn't expect Premier Pegasus to make any substantial move on the road to the kentucky derby. His last race looked pretty weak relative to the other derby contenders. I also doubt his transition to dirt will be a good one.
Premier Pegasus looked good in the Hollywood Prevue but I do not know how strong that event was since High Level Jeff and Industry Leader came out of that race to finish up the track in the CashCall Futurity. He has done nothing wrong and owns a promising dirt route pedigree (Fusaichi Pegasus-Summer Squall). We should learn more about him at Santa Anita.
Jarrod, I notice you do not have Premier Pegasus in your Top 10 ... any thoughts on him?
