$119,278 Santa Anita Pick 6 Carryover Tickets – Feb. 17

Sunday’s Santa Anita Park Recap – Feb. 16

Fast main track seemed to play fair (1 wire job @ 5.5f). Forwardly placed runners held the edge on the firm turf course (1 wire job @ 8f). The turf rail was set at 15 feet.

Hat trick for Joe Talamo. Joel Rosario won two stakes races on Sunday. Steve Knapp and Peter Miller both saddled two winners on the program.

Using the Primary/Secondary ticket strategy on Sunday, I tabbed two Secondary winners (Awesome Indy, Kobe’s Back). All three suggested singles finished 2nd. Good for Place Pick All wagers…Bad for Pick 4 and Pick 6 plays. Carryover into special holiday Monday card!
