$100k Pick 4 Guarantee at Arlington Park

Fans of multi-race wagers, particularly those involving high-quality turf stakes races, will find plenty of opportunity to partake in such bets on Million Preview Day on Saturday, July 12. Arlington International Racecourse will play host to four Grade III turf stakes - the $200,000 Arlington Handicap, the $200,000 Modesty Handicap, the $200,000 American Derby and the $150,000 Stars and Stripes Stakes.

Arlington will offer a $100,000 guaranteed pool on a special 50-cent All Graded Turf Stakes Pick 4 wager covering races 7-10 that will start with the 1¼-miles Arlington Handicap, followed in order by the 1½-miles Stars and Stripes, the 1 3/16-miles American Derby and the 1 3/16-miles Modesty Handicap.  The only caveat is that all four races must remain on the turf for the guarantee to remain in place.

The $1 Pick 3 that covers races 7, 8 and 9 and the one covering races 8, 9 and 10 will be all graded turf stakes as will the rolling $2 daily doubles on races 7-8, 8-9 and 9-10.

The day's $1 Pick 6 will start on race 6 and run through race 11 and will include two additional turf races - race 6 (a 1 1/16-miles allowance) and race 11 (a 1-mile maiden claimer).  The Pick 6 offers a low take out rate of just 15% as does Arlington's popular 50-cent Pick 5 which will cover the day's final five races (four of which are on turf).

All of Arlington's races on Million Preview Day will offer standard win, place, show, exacta, trifecta and superfecta races subject to Illinois Racing Board rules.  In addition, the 10-cent JackPOT Pick 9 will cover the first nine races on the card, a brisnet.com 50-cent Pick 4 wager covering races 2 through 6, a twinspires.com Late Pick 4 on the final four races on the card including the American Derby and Modesty Handicap as well as two other races and a $1 Jackpot High-5 on the final race of the day.
