folks ot is now almost 8:30 in N.Y. i live about 25 minutes from belmont and it is pouring buckets outside.the weather channel just posted the showers will end in the A.M tomorrow and the afternoon will be sunny.
last chance to get on the bandwagon.do not for one second deem me a homer and i am pushing this horse.i know exactly how much the trainer loves this horse.are there issues with him relaxing.absolutely.but they are addressed on a daily basis.do not listen to the veterenerian wanna bees and concern with his health.he is as good as you want a horse to be at this stage.in his last 2 works, rudy rodriguez(the trainer and excersize rider)has taken off the kid gloves and put 2 excellent works into him.he has reacted very positively.to show you how much rudy wants to ru inthis race and is extemely confidant that the horse will make a strong showing.up to the draw he was given every opportunity to not run in the belmont and instead enter in the woody stephens at 7F or the Easy Goer at 1 1/16 at shorter and more suitable distances(if you listen and believe the genius pundits)rudy declined.why should i run in the other races when i have a belmont stakes horse in my barn.that is all you can ask.the confidance of the man that knows best about this horse.do not for a second think vyjack is running to satisfy the ego of the owner and trainer,to say they ran in the belmont.he will be a generous price, but that has nothing to do with it.last i remember visiting with vyjack.he has no clue as to speed figures or betting odds.it also does not make a difference as to how he runs.after saying all this.if vyjack does not run well ,especially as to how he looks and is training up to the race.unless something blatant occurs during the race.there will be no excuses.congratulations will be directed to the winning connections.somehow down deep in my heart,if this horse is given the opportunity to show his best.he will have a lot to say as to who will be drapped with the winners blanket.as usual good luck in whoever you select.

  • tmallios1 · no idiot has nothing to do with touching a nerve.its guys like you that think the so called needling is restricted to the claiming trainers(in your mind the peons) if one does it they all do it.all your favorite pets you write about.you think all of these guys are scot free.me,if i see a trainer do it ,i will be sure.the rest is hearsay.i have my suspicions on the rainers that have the chalks tomorrow.i have no proof,so i let sleeping dogs lay.guys like you have all the answers.yet your entire knowledge of the game can be summarized in 1 word . • buckpasser · When you deal with post position statistics, I always feel you should go back to 1940 or 1941 on to the present. Because prior to that time, you had stand up starts, barrier starts or stall starts which are all different that the electronic starting which wasn't invented until 1939 and not in use at all tracks by 1940 or 1941at the latest. To send the horses on their war prior to that with stand up starts were men cracking large bull whips to get the horses going. · 11 days ago ·

If he settles, and runs like the Gotham, he wins the Belmont.
In my gut I think he'll rebound and I will use him along with Giant Finish and Incognito as my long shots.

  • Lisa111 · You're right Sword. I'm hoping that Leparoux can keep Vyjack nice and happy and let him hang with the big boys mid pack. There are so many in this race that I love for different reasons. Unfortunately weather will be a huge factor, and that factor sometimes can be a roll of the dice. · 12 days ago ·

  • tmallios1 · lisa you nailed it.the dangerous horse in this race is palace malice.i am big on how horses look when they work.his 2 belmont preps have been awesome.he is not a speed freak.in the derby he was running in his 3rd race in 4 weeks.dogwood used him as a billboard to promote their stable.they ran in bluegrass to qualify fort the derby.he was already over the top on derby day.mike smith sticking is huge.similar to stevens sticking with oxbow off 2 bad races.so only 2 horses i will use on top.vyjack and palace malice. · 12 days ago ·
