  • ruffianlover · Some errors but otherwise a nice article. I look for Judy the Beauty to win the sprint although Groupie Doll will hopefully be back for revenge. It will be tough as I like both a lot. I feel that poor Executivepriviledge is overmatched and will get killed. So sad as she was so promising last year. · 181 days ago ·

Wise Dan’s loss this past weekend at Keeneland raised a lot of eyebrows but what does it mean for his legacy, Horse of the Year defense, and bid for another BC victory?Read More

  • Floridaf · I think it's interesting that you consider Wise Dan to be a probable play against in the BC Mile, Travis. After his loss at Keeneland, I myself wondered if maybe the "lemon had been squeezed dry" at Woodbine prior to his Keeneland effort rather than afterwards. Just a thought. · 187 days ago ·

  • tmallios1 · Where i beg to differ on 1 point is the terminology used.Dan chased the pace.Far from what i saw.J.R. just parked himoutside for clear running. He easily cruised into 2nd place. The one correct statement is that Silver Max ran his eyeballs out.Although J.R.showed Dan the whip and shook him up.Never with any intensity.Forget the fact he was not running on his preffered surface. H e was also asked to go an additional 16th of a mile, due to the Surface Change. In most speed figures that have come out(at least the ones that mean anything to me) Dan ran basically the same race he ran in the past.He is comig into this race in the same manner he came into last years race.Exactly the same amount of racce and spacing. With Silver Max and Obviously in the race,if i were the Lopresti/Fink/Velasquez team.I would be extremely confident in the potential trip he will get.Should Dan lose this race.It will not be because he is a tired or spent horse. It will be because somebody layed down a Herculean effort to beat him. · 187 days ago ·
