RIP Spurious Precision
If I had to pick my favorite 2 y/o right now, he would be my pick. And I know that he's up against Bobby and Bern

  • rafirox · Now since the hopeful ran my rankings are different. I must put Bobby in Top 5. Rankings would be: Still SP at 1, 128 (laugh at me if you want) at 2, Bobby at 3, Brown Almighty at 4, and Archwarrior at 5 (criticize all you want.) · 675 days ago
  • rafirox · Very, Very sad day.... RIP Spurious Precision · 660 days ago
very sad day for racing fans ;/ you willl be missed SP.
This is very heartbreaking. R.I.P Spurious Precision. Gone way too soon.
What a complete shame. this looked like a colt who had a lot of potential. Gone way too soon. Rest in Peace, SP.
oh wow. i had a lot of hope for this horse. Rest in Peace SP.!
I can't believe another promising horse is gone. He was euthanized Tue after breaking a knee on Mon. So sad.
  • Mary Z. · How horrible. He was a very nice colt. Two wins at Saratoga, and took the Special eased up. Sad. · 660 days ago
  • goblin · Yes, I just read it on BH, and couldn't believe what I was seeing. From the description of the fracture(s) though, it sounds like they were not really operable. Quite sad. · 660 days ago
OMG, so sorry to hear that!
This horse is a star in the making!!!!!!! Such a fast pace and he just kept going! He stepped up from 5.5 to 6.5 furlongs, that's a big transfer for a baby. The fast pace was suicidal and the fact at 6.5 he kept going shows me he can go long distances. Great Pedigree, Great Pontential, and Great Race he ran. Watch out for this colt...
I liked his run at Saratoga, he looks like he had a lot of courage. I was afraid of the birds on the track would fly in front of him and spook him but they stood their distance. I'm suprised he has a close generation to A.P. Indy too. Then he also has Dixie Union, he could have good speed and stamina in him, look out.
Very impressive win in the Saratoga Special, over He's So Fine .

  • Dressage3295 · You can't just look at Bode's wins. He placed 2nd in the Derby with an incredible run in a good fashion of 2:02 as well as a Preakness that showed his determination. The horse not only has speed, he has heart and stamina. UR won the Belmont in a terrible and disappointing 2:30 against a weak field. I would have looked down on any horse who won the Belmont in the time he did. Bode is the more impressive horse, and IHA trumps both of them. · 696 days ago
  • ThatBigBay · I am of the opinion that if Union Rags had drawn an outside post position, he'd have drawn off long before he did. Squished up against the rail as he was, there was no choice but to wait for the right opportunity to slip by. I'm both sad and relieved that he's going to Lanes End. I thoroughly believe that if given the chance, this colt would've come back with much to show us in his four-year-old season. But oh well, that's life, I suppose. No point in fussing over 'ifs' and 'whens'. · 694 days ago
Here are the Beyers for the juvenile stakes winners yesterday at the Spa: Spurious Precision 88, and Kauai Katie 84 ... impressive maiden winner, Seasoned Warrior got an 83.
This horse will like the distance afta the race you cant see he gallop out
Reminds me of Union Rags! What a win.

  • rafirox · Really like this horse. His speed looks like it can stretch out more. I'm high on this horse, considering the pace was blistering! He was the one who took the pace and kept going and accelerating past the others. · 698 days ago
