Will NOT be running in The Belmont. Just announced he OFFICIALLY will be in the Woody Stephens.
the better decision is to run Social Inclusion in the Woody Stephens. They're gonna kill that horse forcing him to go a mile and a half
According to DRF and his connections, Social Inclusion is 70-30 in favor of the Woody Stephens over the Belmont Stakes, this, after he acted up while schooling in the gate at Belmont Park.

  • hearnimal · is it because woody stephens starts on the backside as the Belmont Stakes starts directly in front of fans were it will be very loud i read thats a reason · 49 days ago

Has anyone heard if Social Inclusion is running in Belmont Stakes? I thought I heard the owner was gonna announce it today

  • amdaman · I wouldn't say he can't go 9f, or 9.5f. He's yet to finish worse than 3rd. They tried to rate him in the Preakness, and it didn't work out. How much he lost by means nothing. If he gets some separation from the field on an uncontested lead, look out. I doubt he would stop. His granddaddy won the Belmont. · 51 days ago
@DRFWelsch: Owner Ron Sanchez said Social Inclusion is now being considered for either the Belmont or Woody Stephens and not the Met Mile.

  • Sullivan · More or less a lock in the Woody Stephens, distance is the question for this guy. · 54 days ago
  • Sullivan · As far as horses running twice in one day, I believe the most recent horse to pull that off was Ogden · 54 days ago
Possible defection of this guy. He is now 50/50 for a Belmont start. They may send him to the Met Mile or Woody Stephens instead.

  • EP Taylor · I still don't understand what she had done to make anyone think she had a chance. Aside from the field not leaving the gate at all. · 61 days ago
Who rode Social Inclusion in the Preakness?
If their owners were smart, they would point Social Inclusion to the Woody Stephens, 6/7, the Belmont will be too long for him and the Met Mile will have too much class for him to handle

  • BryanH912 · if he goes to belmont stakes i think its bad idea to be honest · 65 days ago
  • zXSwordXz · He just won't settle. I think he could be a pretty good race horse down the road but the idea of running him in the Belmont Stakes is a bad idea for the horse. · 65 days ago
I would not be surprised if this one didnt finish in the top 4. better miler overrated 2 turn horse

  • icyhotboo · CC has to press or he may get caught inside. If Espinoza doesn't go out look for a box and CC in it for the duration of the race and SI loose on the lead. All the speed is outside, he has to go out with them. His showing in the Wood, considering in his third race they jump him into a grade 1, ship him from hot to cold to let the blood thicken and him get chilled. To top it off he comes out of the 11PP. I'm definately going bet him at 8/1. Then I'll go to the exotics. Even money that CC goes for the top, because he has to. With all that said I still think it's a two horse race, with another two coming from the KD. Bayern??????????????? · 66 days ago
  • Sullivan · I hope your alternate situation comes true. Would love to see Social Inclusion run well. · 66 days ago

Looking forward to cashing a big exacta next weekend with Bayern and Social Inclusion...I see a race set up just like last year with CC finishing 4th..

  • icyhotboo · If the trainer took the time to notice the horse is uncomfortable running, and correct it, he would have more than an 8 million dollar horse. He uses a tremendous amount of energy just trying to get comfortable, let alone running. My problem is I can't toss him as he is the speed of the speed. · 72 days ago
  • Sullivan · How does he get him comfortable? Looks to me like he can stuff a whole jar of cotton into his ears and the horse will still be more wet than the infield lakes · 71 days ago
Will Blinkers be off?
I feel like he could be a threat in the Preakness if he learned how to rate and stay off the lead. If he goes for the lead, i don't see how he will hold up the whole way?
  • Show All 7 Comments
  • DerekFisher · Oh no, don't get me wrong, I have Chrome winning easily. I'm just trying to find horses to compete with him in this field. I'm completely off of Bayern after the derby trial, so i do rate Social Inclusion a bit higher. As of right now, i like Soc Inc, Dynamic Impact, and Ride On Curlin (not necesarily in that order) to contend beneath Chrome. · 76 days ago
  • Sullivan · I'm pretty high on Kid Cruz, you will have to talk me into Dynamic Impact. · 76 days ago

Social Inclusion preps for Preakness on Saturday at Gulfstream going a mile in $75K Sir Bear Stakes.
  • Show All 3 Comments
  • https://www.facebook.com/john.karczewski.39 · I don't agree with this move. He came back in 3 weeks to run in the Wood, now they are going to "prep" him and run him off of a 2 week rest instead of 6 going into the Preakness. Missing the Derby allowed him to enter the Preakness as a fresh horse, now they are giving up that edge. I hope he scratches Saturday · 82 days ago
  • Mike in SB · Unusual move for todays trainers, but I like it. When was the last time a "fresh horse" won the preakness? · 82 days ago
