What the Nation is saying about Out of Bounds...

Out of Bounds has entries on Saturday in both the G3 Cumberland Lodge Stakes at Ascot over 12f and the G2 Prix Dollar at Longchamp over 10f, so surely he'll turn up in 1 of those 2 races? He's entered in the Cumberland Lode Stakes right now with stablemates Royal Empire & Secret Number, and he's entered in the Prix Dollar with stablemate French Navy. I'm just speculating, but my hunch is if we get to see Out of Bounds race on Saturday it will be in the Prix Dollar in France, as I think 10f suits him better than the 12f at Ascot would.
Out of Bounds wins his European debut, defeating John Gosden's Gatewood, just back from a stint racing in Australia, and stablemate Ocean War in a 4-runner conditions stakes at Doncaster. I saw the replay of the race and Out of Bounds looked really sharp. Beautiful looking stride on him.
Big Boy, a great champion!
Looked great in his start overseas.

  • kedez2012 · El Padrino and Union Rags are my top two at the moment, but I'm not sure which is #1. They both took such huge steps in the right direction in their last races--UR finally behaved himself down the lane and EP won a gutsy duel over a dry track. I'll have to wait and see their final preps before making a decision! · 779 days ago ·
