What the Horse Racing Nation is saying about Invasor...

Well Im moving and a lot of this collection Is not going with me. I have Invasors, Stay Thirtys, Algorithms, and Dialed In's halter. As well as saddle cloths, programs, win tickets, pictures, whips, and a'lot more etc . . I really need to get rid of a lot, but I wanna sell my Items to the real fans of the sport. Just Imagine of owning a horses halter who won 7.8 million dollars. I also have a rose from Animal Kingdoms flower blanket from the Derby which I find pretty Interesting considering the way he turned out to be, meaning a great horse. I hope some of you fans are Interested and If you are . . Just comment your email and I will email you ASAP.

2013 Hall of Famers announced: Invasor, Lure, Housebuster, Calvin Borel!!

  • LAZMANNICK · Good for Lure, one of America's premier grass horses and always one of my favorites. He was probably best at a mile (two BC Mile Turf wins in 1.32 4/5 and 1.33 2/5) and was listed at #85 in the Bloodhorse Top 100. Housebuster was a top sprinter and after finishing third in his maiden race, reeled off 8 straight wins before finishing second by a neck as a three year-old in the Met Mile to HOY Criminal Type, while still managing to finish 1-1/2 lengths in front of Easy Goer. His biggest disappointment was running in the ’91 BC Sprint and finishing 9th at 2/5. However he was interfered with in that race (his last) and came back lame. Congrats also to Calvin and of course the great Invasor. · 54 days ago ·

Shadwell Farm is reducing Invasor's stud fee from $20,000 to $4,000 for the 2013 breeding season.

  • northport · He covered 9 mares in 2012, Shadwell offers complimentary breedings for one of their stallions, I wouldn't doubt if that is Invasor's fate, he wasn't ever supported very well and in turn has been a pretty poor stallion · 132 days ago ·

One of my Fav horse of all time
Invasor, was an outstanding race horse. His record speaks for itself. eleven wins, from Feb 05 to March 07, and he defeats one of the all time greats, Bernardini, in the Breeders cup,11/06. Nuff said.

  • LAZMANNICK · Sorry John. With a whopping 8 lifetime starts and only 10 months on the track Bernardini never got a chance to be an all-time great. Invasor was headed in the right direction though even though he only got 12 lifetime starts. At least he raced during three seasons. · 300 days ago ·

They say perfection is unattainable, and as a practicing golf instructor, I’m inclined to agree, but maybe even if this is the sad reality for the human race, we can still strive to find perfection within our world. Perhaps a glimpse of our unattainable will be in store for us tonight when Black Cav...Read More

  • New York Vinnie · If you think that ten races is ignorant then just look at the list by Bloodhorse. As far as I can gather there is just one horse, #94 Artful (1902) that raced less than ten races. All other horses raced at least ten races. · 481 days ago ·

  • DeadHeat · Too early to tell that Brian. Out of Bounds looks like one that can handle more distance, and DD looked to have a lot more in the tank. Elusive Quality has sired some top horses at distances, just look at Raven's Pass and Smarty. QR also was grade one placed at 10f. He could go either way with Forestry, but I do believe that the UAE Derby is longer than a mile. 10f may have been to much for DC, but during his prime that speed could be carried a good ways. · 528 days ago ·

  • terri.zeitz · Check out the article in the Saratogan on Dec 7th, "Rising Stars: Discreet Dancer Dazzles in Debut", The article talks about his extremely talented and classy dam and her female family. His dam, West Side Dancer, is out of Gone West. The Gone West line has produced Excluswive Quality, Smarty Jones, Awesome Feather, and Quality Road. Tood Pletcher said Discreet D was not at all tired after a mile and can go the classic distances. Look at his dam's line to see that quality. Both he and Awesome Feather are on facebook. Pletcher has a Little Red monster in his barn. And you can only bet on him in futures, as he has 4 to 5 odds at the track in his first 2 races. · 524 days ago ·

When did Invasor pick up his lone loss? What a Horse!!
We have already gone over the Horse of the Decade debate thousands of times, some say Curlin, some say Ghostzapper, some say Invasor, or some say Zenyatta. But, one thing we haven’t discussed is who was the best horse to race in California last decade.Read More

  • LAZMANICK · Dubby…………sorry I took so long to get back to you, but your feelings towards horses caught me be surprise and I’ve spent the morning crying. I think I can hold myself together to respond to you………..My response regarding Rachel is simply because you denigrate everything that Zenyatta has ever accomplished. Actually your long winded BS in denigrating Zenyatta and praising Rachel has probably turned a lot of people off towards Rachel…………….JMO, but probably shared by legions of others………..There is no doubt that Lava Man had a great career in terms of winning important races, even though he beat up on what you always call weak Cali G1 competition and couldn’t win outside the State. But the term is best of the decade and how can you call a horse that has lost numerous times to claimers, lost 25 races within the State, raced within the State 42 times, winning 17 or 40%, and didn’t even win the most G1 races within the State during that time…………..Zenyatta is the obvious choice because she won two BC races within the state, more G1 wins and never lost there. If you don’t fancy Zenyatta, then Azeri is the obvious choice. Both were HOY winners. · 720 days ago ·
