With Honor's Code's topline breading with Seattle Slew and Secretariat involved, I wonder if he can show the others in the derby that he has the same will as they did.

  • goblin · These fan-generated lists are highly subjective (as opposed to objective), but Ride On Curlin does deserve a place toward the top at this point in time. It's a bit silly to have two colts in the top 15 that have never even started. ROC has done well; posting a work yesterday, BTW, at Churchill, of 5f. in 1:01, 5/21, breezing. · 205 days ago ·

  • tmallios1 · Audy public pressure is irrelevant. They never pay attention to the public unless beneficial to them. The pressres to run comes from ownership.Especially if they have never or rarely had an entrant in the Derby. They are of the mind set that this may be their only shot to run in it. Do not underestimate the power of unning in the Derby. In 1998 a friend of mine ran a horse in the Derby. He used that opportunity to promote his private buisiness. He flew down prospective big clients and gave them a first class time. The horse did nothing in the race, but at the end of that calender year. I believe he was awarded the Salesman of the Year Award for his buisiness. · 23 days ago ·

There looks to be a lot of speed in this Derby. Hoping this one can get some points to make it in the starting gate and remain healthy because I really think his chances look better and better each week.

  • Ruffianlover · How much I love* him. 'Sigh' just hate that he has so much potential. Hate that he's injured and in pain. Hate that he tried to show them something was wrong in his last race. Hate that I now am not even excited for the Derby anymore. :( hope he makes it back to his old form one day · 24 days ago ·

  • tmallios1 · In recent memory i have never seen a year wheras so many top 3yos have gotten hurt with leg injuries. As someone that pays extreme attention to the track biases when i play. I can tell you that i have never seen so many hard eacing surfaces Nationwide. I have been complaining about it for the longest time. Seems the only time that horsemen and owners give a S__t is in the Breeders Cup. The way Biase said he abused them on the tape,is not the only way to do it. Unless something is done. The best horsse will not be running or winning the major Stakes. The luckiest will. · 24 days ago ·
