  • likin sparks · OTG, I like Ghost Zapper as much as the next guy but if he was subjected to the frequency of GOD's races I think his outcome would have been much different. Anyways GOD has surpassed GZ's winnings by over a million dollars maybe to you that's pocket change but to me it's sheet load more and something tells me he's not finished yet. But he'll likely have to run on synthetics a couple of times before returning to Santa Anita and he has proven to be beatable on synthetics since it does not favor frontrunning speed horses. · 27 days ago ·

Two-time Santa Anita Handicap winner Game On Dude, prepping for the $1.5 million Charles Town Classic next Saturday, worked four furlongs on Santa Anita’s fast main track Sunday a bullet 47 seconds flat, fastest of 52 drills at the distance, the average time of which was 49.57.
on April 14, Game On Dude worked 4F at Santa Anita on Fast Dirt in :47.00 h finishing 1/47.
Game On Dude worked 1 mile in 1.39 flat at Santa Anita Park.

  • likin sparks · Right on, I made the mistake before comparing horses coming from other tracks thinking they would achieve similar results (timing) at CT and for them to be slowed by a few seconds. Here's something to ponder last year Caixa Electronica won the Classic in 1:50.28 fast track not far off the track record (1:49.76) when GOD raced here the time was at 1:51.13 and ran 2nd on a sloppy/sealed track. I've noticed at Santa Anita GOD runs from 1:46 to 1:48 in change at 1 1/8th and will be very curious to see if he can break the track record at CT. · 40 days ago ·
