  • travel_vic · Of course the ealier ones are going to be in more pedigrees...This is an unsawerable question on par with which is the best horse...I 'll bet that if we could bring Eclipse here in a time machine, allowance horses could run rings around him...best of a decadle is about all you can isolate. · 1 day ago ·

It is surprising that Bold Ruler was such a good race horse on the track because he was so crippled with arthritis in his spine that Arcaro would tell sunny Jim that he could barely walk after the race. Sunny Jim used electro magnet blanket on him before the Preakness and Arcaro was shocked at how well BoldbRuler ran that race.

Should be ranked much higher.
Nice horse.
One of the top 5 sires (in no order, my opinion), Fair Play, Native Dancer, Northern Dancer and Sadler's Wells.

  • rowan.maizer · So many horses connected to Bold Ruler, Secretariat, Seattle Slew that do not perform like they should, that do NOT win big are thrown away like garbage, roaming the streets of South Florida, in illegal slaughter farms IN Florida and other USA cities, shipped over seas for breeding and racing and if they do not do well there, they are made into someones dinner. I have recently found a few other horses in a Florida rescue connected to the older famous horses. Perhaps KARMA will take care of the breeders, owners and trainers and everyone else who are cruel to the majestic horse · 601 days ago ·

  • AndyScoggin · mshutty--The pick 5 are usually great value. I have another blog with my pick selections at MTH andyscoggin.blogspot.com. The main track has been playing fairly, depending on how the race sets up. The turf is getting harder without rain lately, so could get more speed favoring. Joe Bravo is a great turf rider! p · 725 days ago ·
