What the Horse Racing Nation is saying about Zee Bros...

He looked great and now Govenor Charlie keeps looking better for the Preakness.
like i said all along he is a sprinter and im glad they finally figured that out
Zayat Stables LLC’s Zee Bros grabbed the lead several jumps out of the gate and went on to post a 2 ¼-length triumph in the $100,000 Chick Lang Stakes for three-year-olds at Pimlico Race Course. Read More
Excuse me for asking but why is a horse that ran 6th in the Derby Trial ranked 13th in the nation?
  • tcglory · Cause the owners said before he even raced that this was there ebst 3 year old and he was a beast in training. Tho looks like hes a lost puppy maybe even more like a blowfish who can puff up and look big but is actually not · 4 days ago ·

  • Mary Z. · Yes, gelded 1, Officer Alex is my top pick in the Derby Trial. None are outstanding. officer Alex could get a nice pace set-up and if the track is off but not very sloppy, he's run well under those conditions. I do think your Titletown Five will go for the lead, but he'll be dueling with Zee Bros. · 21 days ago ·

  • Mary Z. · I liked enough about Ruble, too, Gelded1. I just post top 4 here. If I were to play a super, it would not just be my top four boxed, but it would include others for third or fourth, at least. · 21 days ago ·

how did i know some moron was gonna put him on the santa anita derby probable list! Hes not being pointed to the derby. Hes most likely from my sources to make his next start in the derby trail then preakness if he runs good.
He was gone the minute the gate opened, glad to see him win.
Nicely done!
Gets his second this weekend and I hope he wins.
He didn’t look all that good today, I thought he would of ran away with it. But didn't Bodemeister or Paynter lose their debut.
all that hype for nothing

  • Peppermint Paddy · First race wasn't horrible, and I do think he was overhyped by Zayat. He may like stretching out better. Don't see him in the starting gate in the derby. Anyone want a Baffert sleeper, look no further than Belvin. He is the 'SHIZ'...so shhhh, hush now :) · 98 days ago ·

Makes his debut on Saturday and still has a chance to make the Derby.
Justin Zayat reports this much talked about colt is very close to his career debut.
