  • ldemgyhas · Why did they sent Alsvid in that speed duel? Motown Men would have gotten tired on the dead rail even if he had gone alone. The race set up perfectly for Ol Winedrinker Who. Cool that the local won though. · 503 days ago ·

So I see the connections of Willy Beamin are at it again. The first time he did the deed, things could not hav...Read More

  • marmar60 · Jmac500 - Dutrow knows Remington Park would probably not issue him a license to race there. Not sure if Willie Beamin will be re-directed to Dutrow after the Oklahoma or not. Will have to wait and see. · 565 days ago ·

Congrats to Politicallycorrect! What a race!!!! As part owner of Suns Out Guns Out, we were thrilled with this awesome effort of 4th after only breaking his Maiden at Saratoga in August :) Congrats everyone - Hopefully all of them come out of the race healthy!
Valiant second place performance by this monster. Hopefully he'll rebound when he goes back to NY.
The opportunities for top 3-year-olds to remain with their age group are dwindling, making the $400,000 Oklahoma Derby at Remington Park Sept. 30 a prime target. At entry time, a field of 10 was unveiled for the 1 1/8-mile event, led by shippers Willy Beamin, Prospective, and Daddy Nose Best. Read More

Willy should be racing this weekend at Parx or next weekend at Belmont. He won me lots of money at Saratoga. Great race!
What will Willy Beamin do for an encore after his fantastic four days at Saratoga? It seems the Oklahoma Derby is under strong consideration ... I hope Babe realizes that it's not held at the Saratoga training track.

  • AndyScoggin · I love the two year-olds. I got to see Dreaming of Julia, Kauai Katie, and My Happy Face win, so that was special. I think Archwarrior and Sign will make some noise down the road. My Miss Aurelia was superb, too! · 591 days ago ·
  • Capper · Brian, I thought you'd go with your boy Steamin' Willie Beamin as your horse of the meet. He's not the fast 3yo in his barn, I'd give Alpha the nod. 2 time G1 winner at the meet & part of only "official" dead heat in Travers history. · 591 days ago ·
