Looks great, especially ar 7/2, it's go.
He's entered in the Fall Highweight H. at Aqueduct on Thursday... I wonder if he will be the same off 4 days rest as he was this past summer...

  • travel_vic · Horses in these contests used to tote up to 142....Goes to show you how really INSIGNIFICANT weight is in horse racing. · 1477 days ago
Edgar Prado cant willnt ride this horse he cant even win 1 but willy beamin will win his next start
Has been dropped from the Dutrow Barn, I am in shock over this.

  • marmar60 · Jmac500 - Dutrow knows Remington Park would probably not issue him a license to race there. Not sure if Willie Beamin will be re-directed to Dutrow after the Oklahoma or not. Will have to wait and see. · 1526 days ago

Congrats to Politicallycorrect! What a race!!!! As part owner of Suns Out Guns Out, we were thrilled with this awesome effort of 4th after only breaking his Maiden at Saratoga in August :) Congrats everyone - Hopefully all of them come out of the race healthy!
Valiant second place performance by this monster. Hopefully he'll rebound when he goes back to NY.
Willy should be racing this weekend at Parx or next weekend at Belmont. He won me lots of money at Saratoga. Great race!
What will Willy Beamin do for an encore after his fantastic four days at Saratoga? It seems the Oklahoma Derby is under strong consideration ... I hope Babe realizes that it's not held at the Saratoga training track.
Maybe more horses should be raced in quick turn arounds when "sharp" . http://thoroedge.wordpress.com/2012/08/28/dutrow-wins-kings-bishop-on-short-rest-with-claimer/

  • zxswordxz · Since I cam to America, I couldn't understand why horse need so much time to recover from a 2 minute race. I see my uncle Race the same horse every two weeks and there was no lost of power from him. · 1558 days ago
  • Mary Z. · I was going to say it's the dehydration from the Salix, but they're mostly all on that, so maybe it is the "babying" as some have put it, because claiming horses do run back quicker than stakes horses. The QEII turf filly winner Together comes to mind. She won at Keeneland last October 15th off of a stakes win one week prior, but the QEII was her last race. Not sure why. Was she injured? · 1558 days ago
Its quite sad that this horsei isn't getting more attention, He's the Star of the Weekend. Just because of his trainer he's getting pushed aside.

  • rafirox · Yes, and it bugs me how people are saying he was drugged, just because of Rick Dutrow. He beat a great horse in Trinniberg, and on three days rest, he goes and wins the prestigous King's Bishop Stakes, well deserved too. · 1560 days ago
  • cocoa2 · He may not be that durable. · 1560 days ago
5 wins in last 5 starts including a G1? Wow.

  • Jmac500 · Its because of his trainer thats why people say it. · 1561 days ago
  • Armada · That is understandable. I myself greatly dislike his trainer. But still, I wouldn't accuse it until it is /proven/ that this horse is on drugs. · 1561 days ago
He's a Mega Horse wow, love this guy.

  • gelded1 · Impressive race on 3 days rest. He's got a big late kick. · 1562 days ago
Destroyed the field in the Albany and looks ready for the King's Bishop!
